Sr. Project Engineer - Utilities​/Earth - Meriden

Overview

O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT seeks a Sr. Project Engineer with a focus on utilities/earth moving to join our team in Meriden. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.

The Sr. Project Engineer Must Be Able To Review Contract Plans And Specs For Constructability, Have Intimate Knowledge In Preparing And Reviewing Shop Drawings, And Miscellaneous Submittals For the Following Types Of Pay Items:

• Review contract plans and specifications for constructability.
• Prepare and review shop drawings and miscellaneous submittals.
• Coordinate and support project execution for pay items including:
  Membrane Waterproofing, Aggregates, Roadway Concrete, Milling and Paving, Utilities – Water, Sewer, Electrical, and Erosion Controls.

• 8+ years of experience relevant to the type of work and the scope of the project and/or previous experience as an Engineer.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams.
