Established and expanding consulting Civil Engineering firm, based in Central Connecticut since 1962, seeks a highly motivated individual with 10-15 years minimum experience to be Design Manager, or General Manager of our Meriden Office. Potential ownership opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Demonstrated leadership experience and successful teamwork.
* Exemplary communication skills, including the verbal, written, and public presentation domains.
* Significant Design and Project Management experience
* Broad Technical Background in Civil Engineering;
Transportation:
Highway & Bridge;
Hydraulics/Water Resources; or Water and Wastewater Engineering
* Business development and client management experience
* Municipal and/or CONNDOT design and construction administration experience
* Excellent oral and written communications skills
Responsibilities will include:
* Management of Design teams
* General Management of Meriden Office
* Provide Technical Expertise
* Business Development
* Client Management
B.S. or M.S. Civil Engineering and 15+ years progressive experience in the design and management of civil engineering projects.
Must have a P.E. license in CT or the ability to obtain license in Connecticut quickly.
