Accounts Payable Clerk, Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry

* • Match purchase orders and delivery tickets with vendor’s invoices on a daily basis.

• Verify pricing & sales taxability on invoices.

• Verify that all invoices have appropriate management approval.

• Ensure appropriate GL account coding is applied to invoice. Accurately input invoices into accounting system on a daily basis.

• Reconcile monthly statements from vendors, research and correct discrepancies.

• Communicate with vendors regarding payments or resolving problems.

• Perform bi-weekly check runs in addition to special request checks. Coordinate checks for signature [3 signers]

• Prepare for mailing and file all documents accordingly

• Maintain pricing excel worksheets

• Maintain vendor files [1099 / W9 / Certificates of Insurance]

• Prepare all required 1099s for vendors annually

• Complete credit application for new vendors
