JOB SUMMARY
:
Drives own vehicle over established route to deliver prepared meals to homebound elders by performing the following duties.

• Drives own vehicle to deliver prepared meals to homebound elderly.
• Examines filled trays for completeness and ensures food is delivered in conformance with standards.
• Listens to and reports client complaints to supervisor; reports abnormal conditions observed at clients’ homes.
• Records information and completed reports.
• Ensures all delivery equipment is in good condition and is responsible for the sanitation on a daily basis.
• Ensures the prepared meal plate is delivered to homebound elderly in hand and/or face to face at all times.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Reports hazardous situations to supervisors.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES: High school diploma or GED; or six months to one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Class C drivers license and acceptable driving records as required by insurance carrier. Must have own transportation and possess personal auto liability insurance.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS:

Ability to communicate in English and Spanish. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
