We are at the heart of the Mercedes‑Benz.io business operations, responsible for procurement within the Finance & Procurement team.

The Procurement and External Partner Specialist is accountable for sourcing the products and services.

A core part of this role is managing staffing needs that come directly through our external strategic partners. You will work closely with product teams to understand their requirements and ensure that suppliers deliver the right IT profiles. You will lead the partner selection process, evaluate performance and maintain strong, long‑term relationships that support operational excellence and business continuity.

• Turn staffing needs into clear purchase requirements and supplier orders.
• Work closely with business partners to manage suppliers and support their needs, including hiring teams, tech teams, Finance and Compliance.
• Support the staffing process from understanding what the teams need to getting those needs fulfilled through our external partners.
• Handle purchase requisitions and help keep the ordering process running smoothly.
• Take care of supplier contracts and keep all contract details up to date.
• Negotiate good prices, terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Support the supplier selection process and set up KPIs when needed.
• Keep track of supplier performance and help improve it over time.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our vendors.
• Review and recommend buying strategies to support decision making.
• Follow up on vendor delivery and performance when required.
• Make sure we follow company policies and keep internal procedures accurate and reliable to avoid any unauthorized activity.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Supplier Relationship Manager, Key Account Manager or similar.
• Comfortable working in the IT sector and familiar with different IT profiles.
• Good knowledge of purchasing and staffing processes.
• Strong problem solving skills and a solution oriented mindset.
• Self organized and able to work toward clear targets.
• Basic data analysis skills (for example Excel).

• Recruitment experience, especially from consultancy or recruitment agencies focused on IT.
• Experience in the IT sector managing an outsourced supplier lifecycle end to end.
• Have worked with MS Office, SharePoint, SAP (Fiori experience is a plus), Confluence and Jira.
