Store Associate

Overview

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They help customers with sales and cashier duties, support pharmacy staff, and promote new CVS services.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues.
• Offer a warm greeting, maintain eye contact, and help locate additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the sales floor—restock shelves, update pricing, and complete inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide support to all departments—including photo and beauty—keeping them fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel—working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to remain standing for sustained periods and lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Visual acuity sufficient to view a computer terminal and read small parts.
• Preferred:
  Previous retail or customer service experience.

Hourly rate: $16.50 – $23.50. Pay varies by experience, education, geography, and other factors.
