This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position.
Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary range the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $71,500/yr - $86,100/yr.

Reporting to the Director of Housing Services, the Resident Services Coordinator has primary responsibility for the daily operational business activities of Housing & Residence Education (HRE) service desks and residential mail. The Resident Services Coordinator supervises, hires, trains, and develops student employees who provide front-facing services to students, staff, faculty, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities
- Residential Mail Management:
Oversee and assist with all aspects of residential mail, package, and parcel delivery, including creating systems for mail and package processing, developing relationships with couriers, and managing the package locker system. - Actively review and troubleshoot locker systems, create and resolve technical tickets with vendors, and monitor and replace necessary supplies.
- Implement University policies and ensure staff adhere to all federal, state, and USPS laws and regulations to mail and package handling.
- Student Staff Supervision:
Hire, supervise, and evaluate hourly student employees responsible for mail distribution and processing, lockouts and keys, answering housing questions through a variety of methods, and providing excellent service to the campus community. - Conduct individual and team meetings on a regular basis to provide training, facilitate communication, and ensure service delivery meets department expectations.
- Manage student employee onboarding and offboarding, hiring paperwork, and payroll/timesheet processing.
- Key and Access Management:
Oversee residential key distribution, audits, and temporary key processes. - Conduct regular audits of keys and resolve issues with the Auxiliary Facilities Services lock and access teams.
- Create, manage, and update electronic communications to residents regarding keys.
- Track and process lock change charges between Housing Services and Student Business Services.
- Document and train all Housing Services and Residence Education staff on key policies and processes as needed.
- Event Coordination and Participation:
In coordination with the Director of Housing Services, plans, coordinates, and executes cyclical campus housing operations events, including move-in, move-out, winter break housing, summer housing transition, and other occupancy events.
