The University of California, Merced is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position.
Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The salary or hourly range the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $84,000 - $105,000.

The Job
Reporting to the UCM Medical Education Manager, the UCM Department of Medical Education's (DOME) F1 Curriculum & Assessment Supervisor oversees the curriculum staff who work closely with faculty to develop and deliver the (F1) curriculum, as well as leads assessment of students, course evaluation, and continuous process improvement projects to assess and support the program, curriculum, faculty, and students. The Supervisor serves as a bridge between faculty, staff, students, and accrediting institutional administration to ensure a structure that is compliant and promotes an equitable learning environment.
The incumbent partners with other curriculum, assessment, and evaluation teams across program sites to develop standard and parallel processes to ensure that faculty and learners are supported and experience the curriculum consistently. Additionally, the Supervisor will oversee the planning and implementation of an innovative clinical skills curriculum, as part of the UCSF Bridges Curriculum in Foundations 1, that includes small- and large-group learning activities, hands‑on clinical skills sessions in the clinical environment, simulation sessions, and assessments.
The F1 Curriculum & Assessment Supervisor is a talented professional who utilizes their expertise in education and program management to oversee the development and continuous quality improvement of the curriculum.
