Apply to join a college pursuing innovation, engaged employee culture, and growth opportunities. This pool supports part-time kinesiology instructional assignments under general direction of the Dean of Allied Health, Child Development, Kinesiology and Public Safety.
Responsibilities / Essential Functions- Provide instruction in accordance with established course outlines and expectations
- Inform students about course requirements, evaluation procedures and attendance policy
- Maintain required student attendance and scholastic records
- Prepare and grade class assignments and examinations
- Post and maintain regular office hours in accordance with prevailing policy
- Participate in the development and review of curriculum
- Participate in the development of teaching-learning methods and materials
- Participate in departmental, area and campus professional activities/committees
- Participate in the college s learning outcomes assessment program, including course, program, and institutional assessments
- Perform tasks needed for student records, e.g., submit grades on time to admissions and records
- Required:
- Master s degree in kinesiology, physical education, exercise science, education with an emphasis in physical education, kinesiology, physiology of exercise or adaptive physical education OR
- Bachelor s degree in any of the above AND Master s degree in any life science, dance, physiology, health education, recreation administration or physical therapy OR
- The equivalent

- Preferred: National Athletic Trainers Association certificate
- Current technology skills related to teaching in the discipline and a willingness to pursue future technological developments

Employee BenefitsSick leave accrues for part-time faculty on a per-hour basis; sick leave credit is earned at the rate of one hour for every 20 hours of paid service.
