Job DescriptionCreate an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Understand and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders and adhering to company policies.
- Follow guidelines on cash shortages/overages, restricted sale items, and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to policies for postage stamps, gift cards, coupons, and stay current with ads.
- Follow food safety regulations and promote safety programs.
- Inspect equipment, report repairs, and create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and company guidelines.
- Work cooperatively in high-paced environments and manage conflicts professionally.
- Act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and assist diverse customer needs.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Effective communication skills
- Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
Experience:
- Customer service experience
- Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk
