• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Handle various tenders and understand the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers.
• Adhere to company policies on cash shortages/overages and restricted sale items.
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and notify management.
• Maintain equipment and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all laws and company guidelines.
• Work effectively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
