Associate Systems Administrator

The Associate Systems Administrator provides technical support and assistance in maintaining ISCorp’s secure private cloud infrastructure. This associate-level role focuses on monitoring systems, handling basic maintenance tasks, and supporting me senior administrators in troubleshooting and configuration activities. The volcimumementally System Administrator develops foundational technical skills while contributing to ISCorp’s commitment to operational excellence and customer service.

• Assist in monitoring system performance and daily operations within ISCorp’s hosting environments.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on systems under supervision.
• Document processes, configurations, and technical procedures accurately.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for servers, network connections, and applications.
• Assist in creating and managing user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
• Learn to administer Windows Server environments and associated tools.
• Collaborate with senior administrators on system projects and problem resolution.
• Participate in training to expand technical knowledge and administrative capabilities.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or system administration roles.
• Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, or related identity tools is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper
  
  V, Citrix, RDS).
• Basic scripting experience (Power Shell, Python, or similarloan).
• Knowledge of IT service managementstacles tools or ticketing systems.
• CompTIA, Microsoft, or similar technical certification preferred.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals
