Looking for part time nurse/counselor to join our Saturday and Wednesday evening team. 12-18 hours and room to grow for more hours.

Position Overview:As an RN/Counselor at Medi-Weight loss, you’ll inspire patients to transform their health and well‑being through evidence‑based nutrition, behavior modification, and compassionate coaching. You’ll serve as a trusted guide on each patient’s weight‑loss journey — combining clinical expertise with motivational support to help them achieve sustainable results. Patient Counseling & Education
- Conduct one‑on‑one consultations to assess patient needs and develop customized nutrition and wellness plans.
- Deliver motivational, uplifting guidance that helps patients make lasting behavior and lifestyle changes.
- Monitor progress, identify challenges, and adjust care plans under provider supervision.
- Consult regularly with on‑site providers to seek guidance for patients with more complex medical conditions or challenging complications.
- Defer to providers for direct medical oversight of patients whose nutrition plan or customized program requires additional clinical input.
- Educate patients on nutrition, exercise, and behavior modification for long‑term weight management success.
- Conduct follow‑up calls to discuss progress, answer questions, and provide ongoing encouragement.
- Obtain and record patient vitals, prepare laboratory order forms, and ensure timely follow‑up on results.
- Assist the physician or provider with patient referrals and other clinical tasks as needed.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with all clinical policies, EMR documentation, and patient confidentiality standards.
- Perform follow‑up calls and administrative tasks to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Support clinic operations, including inventory management and scheduling as needed.
- Participate in marketing efforts, patient referral initiatives, and community outreach to promote the Medi‑Weight loss brand.
- Train and mentor new team members on daily procedures, patient engagement, and clinical best practices.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Health Education, or related field preferred.
- Active BLS Certification.
- Previous experience in patient counseling, health coaching, or a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong foundation in nutrition, exercise, and behavior change principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EMR systems preferred.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and thrive in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
- Demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and integrity in all interactions.
$28–$35/hour
