Maintenance Assistant

Care Core at Mentor is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Maintenance Assistant & Transportation Driver to join our team.

This combined role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and enjoys variety in their day while supporting both facility operations and resident transportation needs.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Some weekends may be required

Maintenance Duties:

• Assisting with general maintenance duties throughout the facility

• Supporting repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep of the building and grounds

• Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner

• Completing other duties as assigned to support a safe and well-maintained environment

Driver Duties:

• Transporting residents safely to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled trips

• Ensuring vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and routine inspections

• Maintaining transportation logs and required documentation

• Assisting residents in and out of the vehicle as needed

• Previous maintenance experience preferred, but not required

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required

• Basic knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and equipment

• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and perform physical tasks as needed

• Must be able to work some weekends when required
