Role ResponsibilitiesThe Element Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production machinery. This full‑time, non‑exempt position requires a broad range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper verification for production runs.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines and safety protocols.
- Monitor machine operations and observe product quality, making adjustments as needed to ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Document production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with other team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to resolve problems and improve processes.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production and facility operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with tube cutting, hand and power tools, measuring tools, basic math, multimeters/hi‑pot testing, and welding is a plus.
- Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.

- Requires working closely with production and engineering teams on‑site.
- Occasional travel may be required to supplier or customer sites.
