Role ResponsibilitiesThe Manufacturing Machinist is experienced in manual and CNC lathes, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in producing exceptional components.
Key Responsibilities- Create, edit, and optimize CNC lathe programs (G‑code and/or conversational).
- Program multi‑axis lathes (2‑axis, live tooling, sub‑spindle when applicable).
- Perform multiple setups on CNC lathes (tooling, work holding, offsets).
- Verify conformance of finished work‑piece(s) to specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Review and understand GD&T, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate production.
- Operate multiple machines as needed.
- Stay on task and ensure current day scheduled work is completed on time.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED;
Technical Program Certification is preferred. - Experience:
- 3‑5 years of experience with manual machines on a lathe and CNC lathes.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience setting up manual machines.
- Familiar with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Familiar with reading blueprints.
- Familiar with Okuma & Proto
TRAK (preferred).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience in project management and process improvement.
- Fast‑paced, high‑tech manufacturing environment.
- Requires working closely with production and engineering teams on‑site.
The compensation range for this role is $23.00–$27.00 per hour.
