Mortgage Loan Originator

Salaried position paired with a lucrative incentive plan. I am looking for a Mortgage Loan Originator in Northeast Ohio. Responsible for originating conventional, VA, and FHA mortgage loans, as well as construction, second mortgages, and HELOCs.

• Generate new loan business and evaluate, authorize, or recommend approval of mortgage and consumer loans
• Network with realtors, community leaders and business owners to obtain loan referrals
• Prospect for loan opportunities by being visible in the community
• Promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services
• Meet and communicate with loan applicants to explain the terms and approval criteria of loan products
• Obtain relevant information and evaluate applicants' financial status, including credit history, debt-to-income ratio and appraisal reports
• Ensure all necessary information and documentation is submitted to loan processing
• Maintain current knowledge of all applicable lending guidelines and regulations
• Maintain, review and update credit and loan files
• Collect from delinquent loan customers
