EducationMinimum of A.S. in mechanical engineering and/or extensive background in airfoils layout inspection or tool building. Strong programming background desired. Computer knowledge of Auto Cad, IGES, Excel, and Unigraphics is a plus. Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving. Have strong sense of urgency. Individual must be a motivated self‑starter with the ability to work independently. WorkExperience
Minimum of 1 year experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment. Previous casting experience is a plus.
Principal Area of ResponsibilityProgram LK, Wenzel and Zeiss Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform dimensional inspection of castings, fixtures and gages. Review complete blueprints of airfoil castings gages in preparation for writing inspection programs. Work with Quality Engineers and Product Engineers in the development of inspection plans for gathering and reporting of information. Train CMM production operators and create/update procedures as required.
Specific Duties- Substantial experience in programming Camio, OpenDMIS and/or GOM software.

- Ability to read complex airfoil blueprints.
- Demonstrate strong sense of ownership and dedication to meeting deadlines.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co‑workers and supervisors.
- Any and all additional responsibilities as required or assigned.
- Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as of the position.
- The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines.
- Working knowledge of trigonometry and algebra.
