Location: Mentor, OH 44060
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM (may extend to 3:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
This Day Treatment Center is a therapeutic school serving K–12 students with emotional and behavioral needs that cannot be adequately supported in a traditional public-school setting.
The program brings together licensed mental health professionals and experienced educational staff to provide a structured, therapeutic learning environment where students can stabilize, grow, and succeed.
Position OverviewThe Administrative Office Support role is a highly visible position and serves as the public face of the program. This individual will support daily front-office operations while assisting with internal projects in a student-focused environment.
The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and timely manner
- Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls according to established standards
- Provide administrative support for internal projects and daily operations
- Perform word processing, data entry, filing, and document distribution
- Maintain and operate office equipment (phone, copier, fax, etc.)
- Monitor and coordinate records, program materials, intake documents, and schedules
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while serving as front-office support
- Complete all assigned work accurately and within required time frames
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years of general office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
- Detail-oriented, diligent, and results driven
- Flexible and adaptable to changing front-office demands
- Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs as needed
