General Beer Northwest, a leading beer distributor covering 14 counties in Northwest WI, is seeking a professional Sales Representative within the River Falls, Menomonie, Baldwin, and Spring Valley market area.

This position requires selling and promoting our beverage products to their assigned territory of accounts. The Sales Consultant provides exceptional service to their accounts to maximize territory growth measured against market potential. They are responsible for communicating and executing the brand plans of our supplier partners and helping attain collective sales goals.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Actively engage with assigned customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate product recommendations through in-depth presentations which convert product features to benefits.
  • Build and nurture relationships with customers ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the organization.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively position our offerings in the market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation as required.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Commissions of $55,000-$60,000 Annually.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years previous sales experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background screening.
  • Must be able to obtain a Seller's Permit through the State of Wi. GB will pay for the permit.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and Lifting Evaluation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish enduring customer relationships. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate product features and benefits effectively.
  • A drive to negotiate and close sales deals.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of the beverage industry and understanding of market trends and customer motivations is a plus.
  • Must possess good human relation skills.
  • Must have attention and follow up on details.
