Operations Manager, General Management, Business Management
Position Summary
Drive develop and oversee implementation of the business plan for the facility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, safety and operational improvements. Review and approve forecasted staffing plans and ensure they meet business demands. Manage financial aspects by approving and tracking expenses, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing business reports. Monitor and ensure facility-wide compliance with Logistics and company standards, policies, and directives.
Resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns through thorough investigation and decision-making. Serve as a community liaison and champion company-sponsored programs. Lead the facility’s leadership by setting direction, communicating goals, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and facilitating training and development.
Communicate with individuals and groups verbally and in writing; drive collaboration with customers, suppliers, and associates. Develop and oversee the facility’s business plan. Review staffing plans and ensure timely implementation. Manage the facility’s financials and analyze business reports. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards. Resolve concerns and make decisions based on facts. Engage with the local community and champion Walmart programs.
Lead and direct the facility's leadership team, set direction, monitor performance, and foster a culture of belonging and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management) AND at least 3 years in a senior management role within an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment, supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing managers/supervisors, managing workload, and participating in hiring and promotion,
* OR* 2 years as a Walmart Logistics Assistant General Manager with similar responsibilities,
* OR* 5 years in a senior management role with comparable duties. - All job-required trainings and assessments must be completed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Apparel Product Development, Business Operations, Compliance, Facilities Planning, Financial Modeling and Analysis, Logistics, Modeling/Forecasting, Budget execution, P&L Accountability, Recruiting, Supervising Associates, Talent Development, Walmart Logistics Management, Warehouse Management Systems.
- Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, Operations Management or Video Production.
The annual salary range for this position is $ – $. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Other benefit categories include:
