Job Description:

** JOB SUMMARY
** To perform designated tasks related to the operation of the Physical and Occupational Therapy department as they apply to an appointment coordinator and rehab services aide.
This person is frequently the first contact our customers have with the department and must be able to remain calm in stressful situations and represent the Clinic in a professional manner.  The position requires the ability to make decisions consistent with protocols and policies of the department and Clinic always with strict observance of patient confidentiality.
** JOB QUALIFICATIONS
**** EDUCATION
* ** For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
*** Minimum

Required:

** High school diploma or equivalent.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Education in medical terminology is preferred.
** EXPERIENCE
* *** Minimum

Required:

** Computer Experience.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Experience with computer scheduling. Experience in physical or occupational therapy departments or other medical field.
** CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
*** The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position.  Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
*** Minimum

Required:

** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within three months of hire.
** Preferred/Optional:
** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association at time of hire.
** Work Schedule
** Monday through Thursday - 7:15am to 5:15pm or as assigned.

May be asked to travel to other locations.
