Construction Supervisor

Overview

Our top Field Supervisors earn up to $24 hourly plus benefits and PTO. The Field Supervisor (FS) is responsible for supervising field operations teams (GDI and subcontractors). Core duties include reviewing project schedules, training new installers and subcontractors, monitoring work progress and expenses, managing field measures and permits, helping crews start/finish jobs, completing service calls, and meeting with customers to review difficult or complicated jobs.

• Maintain branch quality standards
• Measure jobs
• Check jobs for potential installation problems before start
• Review concerns with Installation Supervisor and Regional Operations Manager
• Review contract with customer
• Diagnose and/or perform service work
• Install jobs as needed
• Provide employee and subcontractor training
• Ensure crews have proper materials loaded on the truck and are prepared to install
• Oversee performance of Lead Installers and Apprentices and train them on proper procedures
• Obtain building permits as required
• Review schedule with Installation Supervisor
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction field operations, with a focus on sunrooms, doors, and windows. Must understand all product lines and know how to diagnose and correct service problems. Good problem‑solving, technology, and organizational skills are required. Candidates should be proactive in managing customer, employee, and subcontractor interactions to deliver win‑win solutions for both our customers and employees/subcontractors.
