Are you experienced in the shipping, logistics, or 3PL marketplace, with hands‑on knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS)? Are you a natural hunter ready to elevate your sales career and maximize your earning potential?
Trans International is seeking a motivated, results‑driven Business Development Representative to generate new sales revenue and expand relationships within the logistics sector. We are a leader in value‑driven supply chain solutions and equip our sales team with powerful tools that clearly showcase our exceptional value proposition—making the sales process more effective and impactful.
This role offers on‑target earnings (OTE) of $120,000, with absolutely no cap on commission. High achievers consistently exceed OTE.
This position is hybrid for candidates located within 50 miles of the job site, with the potential for one work‑from‑home day per week. Some travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Leverage your knowledge of logistics, 3PL, and TMS to prospect, build, and close new business opportunities
- Use a consultative sales approach to position Trans International’s value‑driven solutions
- Conduct professional virtual and in‑person presentations
- Prepare pricing, proposals, and RFP/RFQ responses
- Close contracts and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding
- Grow and manage select existing accounts
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and meet monthly activity goals
- Enter all sales activity into the CRM in a timely manner
- 3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, 3PL, or TMS solutions
- Strong hunter mentality with proven success in prospecting and closing
- Familiarity with TMS platforms and their role in logistics optimization
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong client relationships and manage multiple priorities
- Self‑motivated and driven to exceed targets
- Ability to travel as needed
- Base Salary: $65,000–$70,000 (experience-based)
- On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000+
