Job DescriptionThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing, achieving sales goals, and developing relationships with dealers, consultants, major end users, and representative groups in their assigned territories. The role serves as the primary point of contact for channel partners and Alto‑Shaam, creating a positive customer experience and growing customer accounts across the region.
- Exhibit and continually develop attributes and characteristics consistent with Alto‑Shaam mission, purpose, and values.
- Understand, support, prioritize, and execute corporate sales growth strategies while achieving company sales objectives within the assigned territory.
- Attain comprehensive knowledge of Alto‑Shaam product line categories, technologies, and related applications, as well as competitor offerings.
- Visit and maintain contact with customers and prospective customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Alto‑Shaam products address those needs.
- Maintain customer accounts in Alto‑Shaam's CRM system to track status, activity, and forecasting; perform other routine reporting functions as required.
- Create marketplace demand by specifying Alto‑Shaam products.
- Actively use, understand, and update the CRM tool for Alto‑Shaam.
- Engage, train, develop, and manage representative agencies within the territory to create profitable sales opportunities using all available market resources.
- Develop relationships and maintain regular contact with target market segments, including food service dealers, design consultants, chain and key accounts, and end users.
- Participate and actively engage in strategic planning and marketplace development objectives.
- Maintain an aggressive travel schedule (50%+ travel required).
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or 7+ years in a sales role.
- Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, marketing, market development, account management, or similar roles.
- Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills required.
- Successful customer‑facing experience in sales is required.
