Overview
Workforce Health partners with over 400 employers to help them promote workplace health and safety as well as a full range of occupational medicine services within their organization. Workforce Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. We provide services for pre-employment, DOT, work injuries, drug testing and employee safety through in person and virtual visits.
This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality occupational health services while collaborating with a supportive team led by an engaged Medical Director. As a key member of our team, you will have the autonomy to provide independent patient care while benefiting from the resources and expertise of a collaborative environment within a large hospital system and academic affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin.

* Position has no weekends or holidays. Must work at various locations depending on business need.
Responsibilities- Provide independent patient care in an occupational health setting, with autonomy and collaboration within a large hospital system.
- Deliver services for pre-employment physicals, DOT testing, work injuries, drug testing, and employee safety via in-person and virtual visits.
- Collaborate with a Medical Director and multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of OSHA requirements and appropriate work restrictions.
- Must receive DOT certification within 6 months of hire.
- Comfortable seeing patients aged 16 and older.
- Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and appropriate work restrictions.
- Basic understanding of the Wisconsin workers’ compensation program.
