32. Shift: 4 days per week, 8am‑4:30pm. No weekends or holidays.

The Staff RN‑Ambulatory Clinics works collaboratively as an active member of the interprofessional team to provide therapeutic patient and family‑centered care. The role systematically and continuously collects and assesses data related to patient health status to develop, execute and evaluate the plan of care. The clinical nurse utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health, establishes goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings, and considers factors related to safety, effectiveness and fiscal accountability in planning and delivering care.

The staff RN delegates and supervises care in accordance with the WI Nurse Practice, participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives and assumes responsibility for professional development. Major accountabilities include patient care coordination, direct patient care, patient education, telephone triage/eVisits, and performing/assisting with in‑clinic minor procedures. May float to other areas as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment. At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience is preferred.

Nursing licensure required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Requires a current Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a multi‑state license from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
