* Job Summary:

** will work with the Sales Team and the Customer, to ensure tooling is designed and released to the shop on time and with accuracy. The Design/Manufacturing Engineer will initiate and complete the concept design phase for special form tools & complex modified standard cutting tools, produce new drawings, and designate production routings across a variety of industries. The  Design/Manufacturing Engineer

* Supervisory Responsibilities:

** Other duties as assigned.

* Education and Experience:

** Machining experience is preferred. Ability to read blueprints is required.

Solidworks/AutoCAD experience is preferred.

Computer programming experience is preferred.
** Required Skills/Abilities:
** Knowledge of cutting tool series application understanding. Must have MS office skills.  Ability to read and understand blueprints.  Ability to demonstrate a high level of spatial awareness and ability to conceptualize complex geometry.

Excellent oral/written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
