Pouching Operator - 2nd shift

2nd Shift, 3pm to 11pm Monday through Friday

Pay: $24/hour based on experience

• Complete job setup in accordance with production plans and operate equipment to defined specifications for finished products.
• Perform quality inspections throughout production runs to ensure products meet specifications.
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product within specified tolerances.
• Oversee Packers' activities and coordinate with Quality Assurance Technicians as necessary.
• Document all production activities, including material traceability and usage calculations, to determine finished quantities and line efficiencies.
• Provide backup support to other positions on the production line as required.
• Perform all necessary preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Recommend and assist with process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
• Operate machinery at optimal speeds to achieve production efficiency targets.
• Identify and document equipment or process failures; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall production operations.

• Strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. The ability to operate common hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. Must be able to read a metric and standard ruler.
• The ability to communicate effectively. High school math skills.
• The ability to multi-task.
• Good organizational skills.
• The ability to read blue prints a plus.
