Base Pay Range

$40.00/hr - $45.00/hr

Top plastics manufacturer seeks a Permanent Automation Technician for the night shift. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing high‑speed automated production equipment.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve high‑speed, automated manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and implement automation solutions and strategies to improve production efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
• Design, test, and implement electrical systems to enhance production efficiency.
• Provide technical support and guidance on automation systems to the production team.
• Lead projects to improve production processes and reduce downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document all actions, tests, and procedures for future reference and continuous learning.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Automation Technician, Robotic Technician, or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid experience in robotics, automation, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in various programming languages used in automation.
• Proven experience in project management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in simple terms.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technology.
