Job Description
Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven and forward-thinking Project Executive to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing a portfolio of projects within the Convergint Technology Center (CTC). This includes planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget and according to specified requirements.
Your strong project management skills, leadership abilities and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of projects, profitably, and in alignment with organizational and customer goals. As a Project Executive, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.
Responsibilities- Policies Development for Managing to Executed Margin:
Develop, implement, and enforce policies regarding project/job estimating, measurable customer acceptance criteria, customer hand off from sales to delivery and change control management. - Project Planning:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, budgeting, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies. - Project Execution:
Lead project teams in executing project plans effectively and efficiently. Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards, and manage any changes or deviations that may arise. - Stakeholder Management:
Establish strong working relationships with project stakeholders, including customers, internal teams, and external vendors or contractors. Identify stakeholders' needs, expectations, and concerns. Communicate project updates, risks, and issues promptly and effectively. - Resource Allocation:
Coordinate and allocate resources required for project execution, including personnel, equipment, and materials. - Budget Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control. Monitor project expenses, track budget variances, and implement corrective actions when needed. - Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Proactively monitor and address potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. - Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards. - Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and key performance indicators to stakeholders and senior management. - Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
