The Maintenance Supervisor supervises and directs manufacturing operations, using staff and equipment to meet safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 4:50 am–2:50 pm.

An upcoming retirement has created an opening for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the dynamic Maintenance Team. The primary role includes leading repair and preventive maintenance across Wacker facilities to minimize downtime and improve operational effectiveness.

• Support department initiatives and continuous improvement aligned with company strategy and key performance metrics.
• Problem‑solve daily issues and elevate challenges in safety, quality, production, personnel, and resource availability.
• Gather and deliver timely information, ensuring clear communication with all direct reports.
• Provide constructive feedback, holding employees accountable and contributing to performance reviews.
• Lead by example, demonstrating core values of expertise, passion, agility, and entrepreneurship.
• Treat all organization levels with respect, honesty, integrity, and support diversity, inclusion, compliance, and safety.

• Lead Technicians in predictive, preventive maintenance and repair of building and production systems.
• Develop, implement, and supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation for efficient high‑performing manufacturing (TPM, SOPs, safety).
• Schedule maintenance promptly, coordinating with Production to accomplish equipment and facility repairs.
• Provide long‑term solutions and daily support for operating teams troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to complete work with minimal disruption.

• Coordinate with outside contractors for maintenance and capital projects.
• Initiate and manage capital projects, collaborating with Project Engineering on new initiatives.

• Develop and maintain KPIs for monitoring and reporting maintenance performance (supplier performance, contractor performance, equipment reliability, OEE).

• Perform all job functions safely and maintain safety awareness.
• Use appropriate channels to report known accidents, injuries, and unsafe practices or conditions.
• Participate in the safety team.

Qualifications may be substituted for each other as determined by Human Resources.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of powder paint systems.
• Knowledge of conveyor, automated wash system, parts blaster, and powder booths a key plus.
• Knowledge of distribution machinery, automated conveyors, VLMs, and preventive maintenance methods.
• Basic knowledge of commercial/industrial plumbing and electrical systems, including heating, A/C, and refrigeration.
