Location

US: WI: MENOMONEE FALLS at Froedtert Men Falls Hospital facility.

Job Type

On-site. FTE: 0.001. Standard

Hours:

0.01. Shift
1. Pick up 3 shifts a month, including second, third, or weekend if available. 16 hours of call per month, 1 holiday shift, and 2 holiday call per year.

Sign-on Bonus

Eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Job Summary

At the direction of a radiologist or other providers, prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.

Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and perform diagnostic radiographic procedures under provider direction.
  • Operate imaging equipment and adhere to specific guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain radiation protection measures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Assist in ancillary services and patient care areas as needed.
Experience

One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience.

Education

Post‑high‑school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. Additional 1–2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare‑related field is preferred but not required.

Special Skills

Self‑motivated; ability to organize and prioritize well; ability to remain flexible and reorganize priorities when emergencies arise.

Licensure

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is within 90 days of hire.
