MENOMONEE FALLS at our MENOMONEE FALLS SURGERY CENTER facility. This job is ON – SITE. FTE: 0.800000 Standard
Hours:
32.00 Shift: 1st
Under general supervision performs processing and set‑up of surgical instrument trays, maintaining the correct sterilization parameters; builds surgical case carts using surgeon’s preference lists; processes and distributes supplies and equipment required by Surgery, Nursing, Distribution for the treatment of patients. Maintains certification, and monitors, instructs and mentors non‑certified staff. Other duties as assigned.
Experience1 year of hospital experience in sterile processing is preferred.
EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent is required.
LicensureCertified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the IAHCSMM or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) from the CBSPD is required.
TrainingSpecialized training (min. 6 months–2 years).
