Location: Racine (Onsite at Insinkerator) and/or Cudahy (Onsite at Copeland).
Job Type: FTE: 0.001000, Standard
Hours:
0.01, Shift: Shift 1.
Provides professional Occupational Health nursing services to staff at Insinkerator in Racine and/or Copeland in Cudahy. Acts as an advocate for the health and safety of the staff members at these two locations. Potential to float to other clinics logistically within reason. Other duties as assigned.
Experience- A minimum of two years of experience in areas of general patient care, demonstrating leadership and organizational abilities is required.
- Knowledge of Occupational Medicine is preferred.
- Associate degree in Nursing is required.
- COHN or COHN‑S is preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Nurse Practice Act and Standards of Practice for Occupational Health Nurses.
- Working knowledge of all equipment used in assessing and providing primary health care.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi‑state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.
