Job Summary :

Assists physicians with performance of interventional radiographic and related procedures for diagnostic interpretation and/or therapeutic interventions. Responsible for preparation, documentation of inventory of materials, supplies and coding used for interventional radiology services.

EXPERIENCE

DESCRIPTION:

Additional technical courses and experience; with progressive responsibility and experience in IR/NIR and or Cath Lab is required.

One year of experience in an IR or Cath Lab setting is preferred.

EDUCATION

DESCRIPTION:

Post high school is required. C

ompletion of (minimum) a 2-year, approved, program in Radiologic Technology is required.

TRAINING

DESCRIPTION:

In-depth knowledge of the operation of interventional radiographic and related diagnostic and therapeutic equipment/supplies.

LICENSURE

DESCRIPTION:

ARRT registered and current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer required.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.

Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-CI or ARRT-CV or ARRT-VI is preferred.
