Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Badger Talent Solutions is seeking an EHS Specialist for a full-time, on-site opportunity in the Menomonee Falls, WI area
. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the plant floor, driving a proactive safety culture, and partnering closely with leadership in a regulated manufacturing setting.

You'll play a critical role in maintaining and improving environmental, health, and safety programs while ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

• Champion workplace safety through training, audits, and proactive engagement with plant staff
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Maintain and update EHS documentation, procedures, and reports
• Monitor key safety metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and HR teams on safety programs and plant-wide initiatives
• Support compliance activities tied to ISO certifications or other regulatory frameworks
• Assist with emergency response planning, waste management, and risk assessments

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment - Internship experience will be included in overall experience
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
• Experience in a regulated or ISO-certified facility preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a hands-on, approachable style
• Ability to engage cross-functional teams and drive accountability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems
• Relevant certifications (OSHA 30, CSP, CHMM) are a plus
