Overview
We are seeking a versatile, full-time humanities teacher whose love of teaching Literature and the humanities is matched by their love of teaching and forming high school students in the Catholic faith.
ResponsibilitiesTeachers are expected to demonstrate competency and strength in literature, have comfortability with teaching a variety of courses, and possess teaching ability, content excellence, classroom management, and the capacity to take on extra‑curricular duties, clubs, mentorship in the Houses System (designed to promote character and virtue and to help students grow in holiness), and other duties as assigned.
Faculty members are required to attend daily Mass with the entire student body and participate in spiritual retreats or other school activities. Candidates must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium.
QualificationsCandidates ideally have previous teaching experience, demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field by the time of employment. Educational credits/licensure are ideal but not required; candidates may need to work toward educational credits upon employment.
