Order Management Specialist
Role Overview:
The Order Management Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, validating, and managing customer orders while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Accurately enter customer orders and verify all details for completeness and accuracy.
- Validate orders, resolve exceptions, and address pricing discrepancies.
- Handle order-related inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, purchase orders, and confirmations.
- Monitor open orders and process credits, cancellations, and purchase order revisions.
- Manage customer requests related to returns, exchanges, and order modifications.
- Collaborate closely with sales, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth order processing.
- Respond to inbound customer calls and emails regarding orders, products, and services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in order management, customer service, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ERP and order processing systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CRM platforms).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a professional demeanor.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in supply chain, retail, or manufacturing environments.
- Customer service.

- Call center or customer support experience.
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
