Accounting Specialist

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Specialist supports key financial operations with responsibility for Accounts Receivable, sales and use tax, and general accounting functions. This role partners closely with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and strong customer relationships—directly supporting cash flow and business performance. The position also serves as backup for Accounts Payable and provides general accounting support as needed.

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and customer communication
• Analyze customer payment performance and support credit risk decisions
• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis
• Manage sales and use tax compliance, filings, and audits
• Back up Accounts Payable and support cross‑functional accounting needs

• 5+ years of accounting experience (AR, AP, and/or general accounting)
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, deadline‑driven, and collaborative
