DAY SHIFT - RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing and production issues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze product requirements and apply current facility technology to optimize processes.
  • Design new processes using existing equipment or implement new capital equipment when available.
  • Monitor production flow and analyze operations to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  • Assist with cost studies and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Determine tooling needs, including cutting tools and fixtures, to support production.
  • Review production schedules, engineering drawings, and work orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Adjust workflows and production schedules to meet deadlines and improve output.
  • Utilize planning and control systems to coordinate production activities.
  • Collaborate with vendors, production staff, and management on materials, processes, and project updates.
  • Provide support to other facility areas as needed for production and development requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Experience with CNC machining and programming.
  • Knowledge of tooling, cutting conditions, and machining processes.
  • Familiarity with manual machining, welding, and sheet metal processes.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including CNC programming and Solid Works.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to observe and evaluate processes and implement improvements with minimal supervision.
