Experience:

2 years of previous prep cooking experience is preferred.

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets; taste completed meals to ensure quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use.
• Store, label and date all food items according to policy; follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as required.
• Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time; serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Carry out orders from steam tables and grills and serve customers at multiple stations.
• Use approved recipes and production standards to ensure quality, proper serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Resolves customer concerns; perform other duties as assigned.

• 2 years of prep cooking experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and production standards; strong attention to food safety and sanitation.
• Willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule.
