Our innovative solutions aim to improve patient outcomes in pulmonary embolism and other vascular conditions. The company is in Menlo Park, CA.

Job Description

The Senior QA Technician will have the responsibility to inspect incoming raw materials, manufactured products (QC Inspection and Lot Release testing), and returned field products. This opportunity is ideal for someone desiring a fast-paced, cutting-edge working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct necessary incoming, in process, and final quality inspections using proper equipment and statistical techniques.
  • Ensure incoming materials are in compliance to required specifications.
  • Perform Final Product Release, ensuring outgoing products are in compliance with required specifications and Device History Records (DHR) are complete.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results.
  • Ensure that equipment is current with calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) requirements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Quality procedures and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with Materials and Production resources to ensure that inventory needs are met.
  • Assist with problem solving, root cause analysis, corrective actions.
  • Administrate and elevate issues related to Non-Conforming Material.
  • Support the Engineering team with projects, as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience in an ISO 13485 Medical Device production environment.
  • Experience with various measuring equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Ability to adhere to established specifications, procedures, and policies in inspections.
  • Excellent computer skills, including ability to work effectively with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of Quality System, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Positive attitude with good written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range $80,000 – $115,000 annually
