Position: OR/PACU Supervisor

If you’re an OR/PACU RN Supervisor looking for a new opportunity to work in a fast‑paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing people’s lives, then we want to talk to you. This position requires collaboration with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing nurse case management services for fertility treatments.

We have an immediate opening for a full‑time OR/PACU RN Supervisor to work in our Menlo Park, CA office. The schedule is Monday‑Friday 7:00am‑3:30pm, with the ability to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed.

Salary range 145k‑165k

Responsibilities
  • Foster quality patient services and clinical operations by communicating with staff and physicians.
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate ASC & clinical staffing coverage to provide the highest quality patient care and services.
  • Maintain a high standard of staff performance by coaching and counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the effective delivery of all patient services by regularly monitoring patient flow and program operations.
  • Assist with the coordination and training/orientation of new ASC & clinical staff.
  • Create, update and revise ASC & clinical procedures, protocols, and policies in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Director.
  • Support the Quality Assessment and Improvement process.
  • Serve as a resource for questions and issues related to a range of ASC & clinical issues.
  • Monitor preoperative statistics, i.e., number of cases, procedures, patients, complications (i.e., infection, bleeding).
  • Review OR schedules for completeness, correctness, appropriate flow, etc.
  • Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients.
  • Counsel patients on initial visits regarding infertility and/or ART treatment, coordinate treatment.
Qualifications
  • RN required; BSN preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience preferred with one year of perioperative arena experience required and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in women’s health care required. IVF experience preferred.
  • Experience obtaining QUAD A accreditation is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to form professional relationships with multi‑cultural patients and their families, physicians, subordinate staff, and other supervisors.
  • Well organized; ability to plan, supervise and motivate staff.
  • Flexibility with work schedule including weekend, holiday, and late afternoon coverage.
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, program operations, computer software, and equipment.
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
