Geriatrics Registered Nurse

CSI Companies is actively hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) – Geriatrics to support our federal healthcare client.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Location:
Onsite – Menlo Park, CA (may include a rotation to Palo Alto)

Pay: $65-85/hour based on relevant experience, education, and credentials

We are seeking an experienced Geriatric Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care services within an integrated federal healthcare system serving an aging veteran population. This role delivers comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established clinical protocols, regulatory standards, and interdisciplinary care plans. The RN will support high-acuity geriatric patients while maintaining strict documentation, safety, and compliance standards.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and clinical protocols
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes with appropriate clinical interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate, timely, and audit-ready documentation in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and privacy regulations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and competency validations

• A valid US Real  Passport
• Active, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN accepted with experience
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred depending on unit)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with geriatric or adult medical-surgical experience required
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and care coordination skills
• Ability to function effectively in a protocol-driven, highly regulated environment

• Geriatric nursing experience in hospital or federal healthcare settings
• Experience with interdisciplinary care teams and complex patient populations
• Familiarity with structured documentation and audit standards
