the job looks like:

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Leveraging from a network of experts in Procurement and AP Processes, Project Management and Process Management steer a Road Map of strategic and tactical initiatives that have the goal to standardize, improve and automate main E2E P2P Processes;
  • Ensure that process outcomes are in harmony with strategic goals of Grünenthal.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Ensure full alignment of Procurement and AP Processes with E2E Process Management methodology, practices and tools;
  • Be responsible for the consistent global end-to-end Procure to Pay (P2P) process implementation and governance, which supports Procurement and AP targets and Grünenthal overall business objectives;
  • Lead further optimization and harmonization projects for Procurement and AP processes, procedures and organization to optimize productivity and meet global policy requirements;
  • Drive further automation of the Procurement and AP interface processes (e.g. approvals, catalogs, use of contracts, etc.);
  • Drive analytics projects (e.g. process mining) to foster automation and manage the interface to other processes;
  • Ensure training content and materials quality for Procurement and AP community;
  • Drive and support the use of Catalogue Buying solutions;
  • Participate and/or lead the projects that may be related to target operating model design, process design, process and technology maturity assessment, benchmarking.
What you'll bring to the table:
  • Completed professional education with degree in Management or Finance;
  • Proven track record of leading international projects;
  • Extensive know how of the Purchase-to-Pay process;
  • Extensive knowledge of process improvement;
  • Several years of SAP experience;
  • Examinated Project Manager certification is a plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Very high IT Affinity;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Team player;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Quality and service-oriented;
  • Highly motivated and flexible;
  • Interdisciplinary projects skills;
  • Excellent English language skills, additional European language skills beneficial – esp. German and/or Spanish;
  • Change Agent;
  • Ability to manage C level Stakeholders expectations;
  • Understanding of Business Priorities and Strategy.
