Transportation Program Manager

Peninsula Volunteers, Inc. (PVI) is looking for a Transportation Program Manager to lead our Ride PVI program—an essential service that helps seniors maintain independence by providing safe, reliable transportation.

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of Ride PVI and manage a dedicated transportation team
• Ensure high service quality and rider satisfaction
• Oversee logistics, schedules, and performance systems
• Build and grow community partnerships to expand service impact
• Manage program budgets, reporting, and compliance
• Partner with Development for grant submissions and data reporting
• Identify innovation and process improvements to support program growth
• Support PVI’s mission: helping seniors age in place with dignity and independence

• Bachelor’s degree + 3+ years supervisory/management experience
• Experience in transportation, nonprofit programs, human services, or senior services preferred
• Strong operational planning, problem‑solving, and leadership skills
• Comfortable managing teams, metrics, and program growth
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
• Reliable transportation and ability to be onsite
• Grant writing/reporting experience a plus
