Junior Protective Intelligence Analyst – Menlo Park, CA (Remote)

We are looking to hire a Junior Protective Intelligence Analyst to join our team embedded with a client in Menlo Park, CA. This position allows for remote work arrangements within the United States.
Responsibilities- Monitor source information to proactively identify and assess risks and threats to the client.
- Mentor analysts in intelligence collection and analysis.
- Conduct open‑source investigations, persistent monitoring for threats, person of interest (POI) investigations, and social media sentiment analysis.
- Assess information quickly and accurately for credibility, relevance, importance, and identify information gaps.
- Utilize intelligence‑related applications, tools, and databases to support analytical efforts.
- Provide technical guidance and training to analysts.
- Communicate effectively with security staff and lead efforts to identify, investigate, analyze, and manage online threats to executive staff and employees.
- Research international travel safety, political stability, and travel risks for client employees.
- Lead information collection efforts on emerging threats and crisis situations and communicate information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
- Produce timely, useful, and custom‑tailored intelligence reports and threat assessments.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience providing intelligence or risk analysis.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with highly confidential information.
- Experience using open‑source and/or social media tools.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
- Experience with identification and analysis of POI threats.
- Up to 10% travel required.
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, international affairs, economics, business, or related field.
- Regional expertise.
- Data analysis experience.
- Experience conducting due diligence investigations.
- Familiarity with crisis threat management and/or law enforcement operations.
