This Business Unit Controller role requires a seasoned finance leader with 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within the construction industry, including deep expertise in WIP reporting and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition. Needs to be strategic and tactical enough to push new initiatives forward and lead a high performing team within the finance organization.

• Responsible for all accounting and controls associated with a growing business that expects to generate more than $B in annual revenues.
• Manage the monthly closing process
• Oversee Business Unit cash and banking activities, including collections, disbursements, and cash forecasting.
• Oversight of compiling and reporting financial information to the parent entity throughout the financial close cycles.
• Establish and manage monthly monitoring of critical internal control activities.
• Technical accounting considerations, including revenue recognition, accounting for unapproved change orders and claims, and other relevant GAAP standards.
• Provide critical financial and operational information to executive management

• BA degree in Finance or Accounting
• CPA preferred but not required
• 10+ Years Construction operations experience
• Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach
• Able to work in a complex fast-paced environment with many moving parts with frequently changing priorities, must be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
