Our firm is seeking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst to be an integral part of our team. Our analyst will have a broad range of responsibilities, communicate directly with clients, and see tangible results of their work. Ours is truly a unique opportunity for someone to gain in-depth exposure to our clients and their businesses through close collaboration and touching all aspects of the transactions themselves.
A candidate must have at least 1 year of full-time work experience in financial services, valuation, accounting, M&A, or corporate finance. In addition to possessing the technical knowledge demanded by our industry, a candidate should be detail-oriented, driven, resourceful and able to communicate professionally with clients. -Two-year investment banking financial analyst position based in Menlo Park, CA
-Work directly with senior partners across the U.S. with deep global client relationships
-Direct day-to-day interactions with clients, counter parties, and prospects
-Work on live engagement immediately on both sell-side and buy-side transactions
-Looking for a candidate who is interested in a long-term situation with an opportunity to be promoted to Associate and beyond
Job Description:
-Prepare prospect and client presentations, financial models, and due diligence materials;
-Conduct detailed industry, financial, and other strategic analyses in support of prospective and existing engagements;
-Perform market and financial valuation analyses – public comparables, precedent M&A, discounted cash flow / LBO modeling, and other;
-Develop executive summaries, management presentations, and other strategic marketing documents to support client transaction processes;
-Assist in transaction execution and management in all aspects, beyond market material development, including dataroom and diligence support;
-Conduct new business prospecting, research, and attend conferences
Requirements/
Skills:
-1+ year of full-time work experience in Accounting/Financial Advisory, Valuation, or Private Equity
-Adept at foundational tools of the business – Excel, PowerPoint and industry data sources
-Strong grasp of financial and accounting concepts
-Excellent writing and verbal communication skills – able to comfortably speak with clients
-Self-starter, entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and resourceful
-Desirous of learning investment banking with sincere interest in technology sector
-Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and team player
-Must be a resident of the U.S. or have a current work visa to work in the U.S.
